Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of getlenz.io (“we”,“us”, “our”). They govern your use ofLenz, our economy and investment assistant, including our website, the subscription service, and everything we publish through it (together, the “Service”).

Last updated: 20 August 2026 · Effective: 20 August 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They set out what Lenz does, what it deliberately does not do, what you are paying for, and how responsibility is shared between us. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

Summary

This summary is here to help you read the rest. It is not a substitute for the full Terms, and the numbered clauses below are what actually apply.

1. These Terms and how you accept them

1.1 Accepting the Terms

  1. You accept these Terms when you create an account, buy a subscription, or otherwise use the Service.
  2. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation, and “you” means that organisation. The account is still held and used by one named individual within it (clause 3.2), and the use limits in clause 11 still apply.
  3. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It is a notice about our data-protection practices, not a set of contractual promises, and it is notincorporated into these Terms. Where it and these Terms appear to say different things about personal data, the Privacy Policy governs. It changes under its own section 14, not under clause 19 below.

1.2 What these Terms cover

  1. These Terms cover the Service in all its forms, whatever tier you are on and whether you are paying or using any free part of it.
  2. If we ever agree separate written terms with you, those terms take priority over these Terms to the extent they conflict.

2. Who can use Lenz

2.1 Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
  2. You confirm that you are not a person that applicable law prohibits us from dealing with or providing the Service to.
  3. You confirm that you are not, and are not acting for or on the instructions of, a person, body or government that is the target of economic or trade sanctions, that you are not located in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that the funds you pay us are lawfully yours and are not the proceeds of crime.
  4. These confirmations are given each time you buy, and you must tell us at hello@getlenz.io if any of them stops being true.
  5. You are responsible for checking that your use of the Service is permitted where you live. Some information services are treated differently in different places, and we cannot advise you on that.

2.2 Where the Service is available

  1. We offer the Service only where we are lawfully able to provide it. We may decline, restrict or withdraw access where we are not.
  2. Nothing in the Service is directed at any person in any place where making it available would breach applicable law.

3. Your account and sign-in

3.1 How sign-in works

  1. Lenz uses passwordless sign-in. When you sign in, we email a single-use link to your registered address. Anyone with access to that email account can therefore reach your Lenz account.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, keeping your email address current, and for everything that happens under your account.
  3. Tell us promptly at hello@getlenz.io if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

3.2 Accounts are personal

  1. An account is for one named person. It is personal to you and not transferable.
  2. You must not share, sell, lend, sublicense or transfer your account, your sign-in links, or the access they give.
  3. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being shared or used by more than one person. We do that under clause 18.3, which means we will normally tell you what the problem is and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right before we go further, and a person — not an automated check alone — decides whether to terminate.

3.3 We never ask for keys or funds

  1. We will never ask you for your wallet keys, seed phrase or recovery phrase, exchange API keys, or any password. You must never give these to anyone claiming to be us.
  2. We do not connect to your wallet, we do not connect to your exchange accounts, and we never have access to your funds.

4. What Lenz provides

4.1 The Service

  1. Lenz reads markets, economic data and world news continuously and publishes one short written read per market per day: what happened, why, and what could happen next.
  2. Each read offers progressive depth — a plain answer, the reasoning behind it, the evidence it rests on, and the underlying numbers.
  3. Which markets are covered may change over time. The current list for each tier is shown at checkout, and that list, on the day you pay, is what you are buying.
  4. You are buying only the markets that are live in your tier on the day you pay. A market we have described anywhere as planned, coming or in development is not part of what you are buying. We do not promise a date for it, and we do not promise it will arrive at all. If a market that is not yet live is the reason you are buying, please wait until it is live before you pay.

4.2 What the tiers mean

  1. Tiers (Silver, Gold, Diamond) differ by how many markets are followed, not by how quickly reads arrive. Every tier runs on the same publication cycle (the read for each market is refreshed about every two days). No tier gets an earlier, faster or exclusive read.
  2. We do not promise a specific publication time, a specific number of words, a specific format, or that a read will be published for every market on every day.
  3. The current list of markets in each tier is shown at checkout. That list, on the day you pay, is what you are buying. Clause 13.2 governs what happens if we change it during your term.

4.3 Corrections and retractions

  1. Because the analysis is automated and is not checked by a person before publication, we may correct, amend, replace or withdraw anything we have published, at any time, without notice, and after you have already read it.
  2. A read you saved, printed or copied may therefore be superseded or withdrawn. The version shown in the Service is the current one, and it is the only one you should rely on.
  3. If you think something we have published is wrong, please tell us at hello@getlenz.io. We will look at it. We do not promise to change it, and we do not promise to tell you individually when we do.

4.4 What Lenz deliberately does not do

The following are permanent product boundaries, not features we have not built yet. Lenz does not, and will not:

  1. give entry prices, exit prices, price targets, stop-losses or position sizing;
  2. tell you to buy, sell or hold any specific asset;
  3. manage a portfolio, exercise any discretion over your assets, or execute any transaction;
  4. take custody of anything — there is no wallet connection, no exchange API keys, and no access to your funds;
  5. hold, transfer or manage any money or asset on your behalf.

5. The analysis is produced by an automated system

5.1 No human analyst

  1. Everything Lenz publishes is generated by an automated system driven by artificial intelligence. No human analyst writes, reviews, verifies or approves any read before it is published to you.
  2. You should assume, at all times, that what you are reading was produced by software and has not been checked by a person.

5.2 Automated output has automated limits

  1. The system can be wrong. It can produce analysis that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, internally inconsistent, or based on third-party data that is itself wrong, delayed or missing.
  2. It can misread a source, draw an unsupported conclusion, or express a mistaken conclusion in confident language. Confident wording is not evidence that the analysis is correct.
  3. It can state something that is not true and attribute it to a source that does not say it; invent a figure, a quotation, a date or a reference; or confuse two assets, two events or two periods. These are known and recurring failure modes of systems of this kind, not rare accidents, and no amount of engineering removes them entirely.
  4. A read is written at one moment from the data available at that moment. It does not update itself. Markets move afterwards, and anything you are reading may already be out of date — including the numbers shown in the deeper layers.
  5. The system depends on third-party market data, economic data and news sources that we do not control. If those sources are wrong, delayed or unavailable, the analysis will reflect that.
  6. The Service may be delayed, interrupted or unavailable, and a scheduled read may be late or may not appear at all.

5.3 What this means for you

  1. You must not treat anything Lenz publishes as verified fact. Check anything that matters against a primary source before you act on it.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness or fitness for any purpose of anything the system produces.

6. Information, not advice

6.1 General information only

  1. Everything we publish is general information and automated analysis. It is published on the same terms to every subscriber on the same tier, and it is not tailored to you.
  2. We know nothing about your financial position, your objectives, your other holdings, your time horizon, your tax position or your tolerance for loss, and nothing we publish takes any of them into account.

6.2 What the Service is not

Nothing in the Service is, or should be treated as:

  1. investment advice or a personal recommendation;
  2. financial, legal, tax or accounting advice;
  3. an offer, solicitation, inducement or invitation to buy, sell, subscribe for or deal in any asset, security, derivative or financial instrument;
  4. a promise, forecast or guarantee about the future price or performance of anything;
  5. a substitute for your own research or for advice from a licensed professional who knows your circumstances.

6.3 No advisory relationship

  1. We are not your broker, dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser, fund manager, fiduciary or agent. Using the Service does not create any advisory, fiduciary or agency relationship between us.
  2. We are not authorised, licensed or registered as an investment firm, broker, investment adviser, fund manager or cryptoasset business, and we do not provide regulated investment services. Where a jurisdiction would require an authorisation we do not hold in order to do what the Service does, we do not offer the Service there (see clause 2.2).
  3. If you want advice about your own situation, please consult an appropriately qualified and licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

6.4 Our interests, and how we are paid

  1. We are paid by subscription only. We are not paid, in money or in anything else, by any issuer, exchange, broker, fund, project, promoter or market participant to cover an asset, to cover it in a particular way, or to cover it at all.
  2. We do not sell paid placement, sponsored coverage or affiliate positions inside the Service, and nothing the Service publishes is advertising or promotional material for anyone.
  3. No person selects, edits, times or approves what the automated system publishes. The system does not know what anyone connected to us holds.
  4. We, our owners, our officers and our staff may personally hold, buy or sell assets the Service writes about. We operate an internal policy on personal dealing in covered assets, and on the handling of unpublished output. If our position on any of this changes, we will change this clause.
  5. This clause describes the arrangements we have. It is not a representation that the Service is free of every conflict, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement about who is telling you something and why.

7. Your decisions, and your risk

7.1 You decide

  1. Every decision to buy, sell, hold or do nothing is yours alone, made on your own judgement, from your own research, and at your own risk.
  2. We never act for you and never touch your money. There is no point in the Service at which we make a decision on your behalf.
  3. You are solely responsible for the consequences of your decisions, including any financial loss, and for your own tax and regulatory obligations arising from them.

7.2 Reliance

  1. If you choose to act on something we publish, you do so entirely at your own risk and on your own assessment of it.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for any decision you make, or decline to make, in connection with the Service.

8. Risk warning

8.1 Markets are uncertain

  1. The value of assets can fall as well as rise. You can lose some or all of the money you put in, and in some products you can lose more than you put in.
  2. Crypto assets in particular can be extremely volatile, can lose value quickly and permanently, may have limited or no regulatory protection where you live, and may become illiquid or untradeable.
  3. Commodities and macro-driven markets can move sharply on events that no analysis anticipated.
  4. Where an asset is priced in a currency other than your own, currency movements can change your outcome independently of the asset itself.

8.2 No promise of any outcome

  1. Past performance and past patterns are not a reliable indicator of future results.
  2. Any scenario, probability, likelihood or track-record figure we publish is an estimate produced by an automated system from historical data. It is not a prediction, not a promise, and not a measure of what will happen to you.
  3. We make no promise of any accuracy level, any profit, any performance, or any protection from loss.
  4. Nothing in the Service reduces the risk of your decisions.

8.3 Track-record and accuracy figures

  1. If we publish an accuracy rate, a hit rate, a win rate or any other track-record figure, it ismeasured by us, on our own data, using our own method, and is not audited, verified or reviewed by anyone independent of us.
  2. A figure of that kind is sensitive to how it is defined. Measuring the same output a different way — a different horizon, a different threshold for what counts as right, a different treatment of the reads that were inconclusive — produces a different number. We may change our method, and if we do, later figures will not be comparable with earlier ones.
  3. Any such figure describes the output of the system as a whole over a stated past period. It says nothing about any individual read, nothing about the market you care about, and nothing about what would have happened to a position you took.
  4. We publish figures like this so you can see how the system has done. They are not a forecast, not a target, not a promise, and not a basis on which to size a decision.

9. Subscriptions, prices and payment

9.1 What you are buying

  1. A subscription gives you access, for a fixed prepaid term of three, six or twelve months, to the reads included in your chosen tier.
  2. You are paying for access to the Service during that term. You are not paying for any particular outcome, result, accuracy level, or specific piece of content.

9.2 Prepaid, and nothing renews

  1. Subscriptions are paid once, in full, in advance. Access begins when payment is confirmed.
  2. Nothing renews automatically. At the end of your term, access simply ends unless you choose to buy again. We do not store a payment method and we will never charge you again without you starting a new purchase.

9.3 Paying in USDT

  1. Prices are set and payable in USDT, a stablecoin. We do not accept, handle or store bank details or card numbers.
  2. A stablecoin transfer is irreversible. Once sent, it cannot be recalled, cancelled or charged back, by you or by us.
  3. You are responsible for sending the correct amount, of the correct asset, on the correct network, to the correct address shown at checkout, within any time window shown with it.
  4. Transfers that are underpaid, overpaid, sent on the wrong network, sent to the wrong address, or sent after a quote expires may not be credited to your account and may not be recoverable by anyone, including us.
  5. Network and transaction fees are yours to pay. The amount that must arrive is the amount quoted, net of any fees deducted in transit.
  6. A quoted amount may be valid only for a short period because of price and network conditions.
  7. Pay from a wallet you control. If you pay from an exchange account or another custodial account, the sending address we see is not yours, we may be unable to identify your payment, and a refund under clause 10 may be impossible to deliver to you.

9.4 When access starts

  1. Access starts when the payment is confirmed on the relevant network and reported to us as complete.
  2. Confirmation can take time. We are not responsible for delays caused by network congestion, the wallet, exchange or service you send from, or any third party in the payment path.

9.5 Taxes

  1. Prices are exclusive of any tax, duty or levy that may apply to you. You are responsible for any such amount and for your own tax reporting.
  2. You are solely responsible for the tax treatment of any gain or loss arising from your own decisions.

9.6 Screening, sanctions and unlawful funds

  1. We and our payment provider may screen a payment, and the address it was sent from, against sanctions lists and against public information about that address, and may act on what that screening shows.
  2. We may refuse, delay, return or withhold a payment, refuse to open an account, and suspend or terminate access, where we reasonably believe that not doing so would breach sanctions, anti-money-laundering law, or any other law that applies to us, or where we are required or directed to act by a competent authority.
  3. Where we are lawfully able to, we will tell you what we have done and why, and a person will review the decision before we terminate an account or permanently withhold a payment. Where the law prevents us from telling you, we will not.
  4. If we refuse or return a payment under this clause, no subscription arises, and we will return the payment — where the law permits us to return it at all — to the address it came from, less any network fee.
  5. This clause is a right we reserve. It is not a service we provide to you, and it is not a promise that we will detect anything.

10. Cancellation and refunds

10.1 Your statutory rights come first

  1. If the consumer law that applies to you gives you a right to cancel, to a refund, or to a remedy that cannot be excluded or waived by agreement, you keep that right in full. Nothing in this section removes it, and where this section conflicts with such a right, that right prevails.

10.2 When supply begins, and what you agree at checkout

  1. The Service is a digital service — a continuing right of access for your term — together with the digital content published to you during that term. Supply begins when your payment is confirmed and access is opened, which under clause 9.4 is not always the same moment as the moment you send the payment.
  2. Where checkout asks you, before you pay, to expressly request that we begin supplying the Service as soon as your payment is confirmed rather than waiting for any cancellation period to run, and separately to acknowledge what that request means for your right to cancel, we record what you confirmed and send you confirmation of the contract by email so that you have it in a durable form.
  3. Where the consumer law that applies to you allows that request and acknowledgement to have this effect, you lose the right to withdraw from the contract once supply has begun. Where that law allows the right to be lost only in part, or requires you instead to pay only a proportionate amount for what you had actually received before you cancelled, then that is what applies — not this clause.
  4. If we did not obtain that express request and that acknowledgement before you paid, or did not send you the confirmation, this clause does not apply to you at all and your cancellation right is untouched.

10.3 Otherwise non-refundable

  1. Subject to clauses 10.1, 10.2 and 10.4, prepaid fees are non-refundable once access has been granted, in whole or in part.
  2. This includes where you stop using the Service, change your mind, disagree with or are dissatisfied by the analysis, made a decision that lost money, or had your access terminated under clause 18.3(b) for a serious breach.
  3. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time, and we do not pro-rate a term you chose to stop using.

10.4 When we will refund you

We will refund a pro-rata share of the unused part of your prepaid term if:

  1. we permanently discontinue the whole Service during your term;
  2. we stop offering the Service where you live, or otherwise withdraw or restrict your access under clause 2.2, for any reason other than your own breach of these Terms;
  3. we make a change to these Terms, or to the Service, that is materially adverse to you and you tell us within 30 days that you do not accept it (see clauses 13.2 and 19.2); or
  4. the Service, or the tier you paid for, is unavailable to you for more than 7 consecutive days, or for more than 14 days in total in any rolling 30-day period.

And we will refund everything you paid, not a pro-rata share, if we fail to supply the Service at all after your payment has been confirmed.

Clause 10.4(d) applies whatever caused the unavailability, including a failure of the hosting, data sources, models or other infrastructure we chose to rely on. It does not apply where the unavailability was caused by you or by your own equipment or connection, or where we were acting under clause 9.6 or clause 18.3.

Refunds are made in USDT to an address you give us, less any network fee. We are not responsible for a refund sent to an address you gave us incorrectly.

10.5 What is not refundable

  1. Amounts lost because of an error in your own transfer, a wrong address, a wrong network, or a wallet or exchange failure.
  2. Network or transaction fees.
  3. Short interruptions that do not reach the thresholds in clause 10.4(d).
  4. Loss of access caused by you losing control of your email account.

10.6 How to ask

  1. Write to hello@getlenz.io from your registered email address, telling us what you are asking for and why. We aim to respond within 14 days.

11. Acceptable use

11.1 What you may do

  1. You may read, use and refer to the content of the Service in making your own decisions — or, where clause 1.1(b) applies, the decisions of the one organisation that bought the account — during your paid term. What you may not do is use it to provide a service to anyone else.
  2. You may keep a reasonable number of copies for your own reference, subject to clause 4.3(b).
  3. Assistive technology is always permitted. Nothing in clause 11.2 restricts a screen reader, a magnifier, a text-to-speech tool, or any other software you use in order to be able to read the Service.

11.2 What you must not do

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  1. scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or use any automated means to access, copy or extract content from the Service systematically or in bulk;
  2. carry out text or data mining on the Service, or use its content to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model or system;
  3. resell, redistribute, republish, syndicate, broadcast, sublicense or otherwise make the content available to anyone else, whether or not for payment;
  4. share your account, your sign-in links, or your access with any other person;
  5. frame, mirror or reproduce any part of the Service on another site or product;
  6. circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any tier limit, access control, rate limit or paywall;
  7. reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the underlying models, prompts, methods or source of the Service, except to the extent this restriction cannot lawfully be imposed on you;
  8. use the Service to operate a signal service, copy-trading service, newsletter, managed account or any other service for third parties;
  9. present anything we publish to a third party as advice given by us, as verified by us, or as a recommendation;
  10. probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or interfere with its operation or its infrastructure;
  11. use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive purpose, or in breach of any law that applies to you.

We expressly reserve all rights in the content of the Service against text and data mining and against machine-learning training use, including the reservation of rights permitted by Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, and we make that reservation in machine-readable form on the site as well as here.

11.3 Monitoring and enforcement

  1. We may take reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent breaches of this section, including rate limiting and blocking automated access.
  2. We may suspend or terminate access under clause 18 where we reasonably believe this section has been breached. Automated detection may trigger a temporary suspension, but a person reviews the case before we terminate an account, and you can ask us to look again.

12. Our content and your licence to use it

12.1 Ownership

  1. The Service — the interface, the design, the code, the underlying methods, models and prompts, the databases behind it, the names and the marks, and the selection, compilation and arrangement of what it publishes — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by intellectual property law.
  2. The written reads themselves are generated by an automated system. Some jurisdictions do not recognise copyright in material produced without a human author, and we make no claim wider than the law where you are actually allows. To the extent a right does subsist in a read, it belongs to us or our licensors. To the extent none does, your right to use a read still comes only from the licence in clause 12.2, and the limits in clause 11 still bind you as a matter of contract regardless.
  3. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

12.2 Your licence

  1. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for the purposes set out in clause 11.1 during your paid term, subject to these Terms.
  2. We may revoke that licence only by suspending or terminating your access under clause 18. We cannot withdraw it at will during a term you have paid for.
  3. The licence ends when your term ends or when your access is terminated, whichever is earlier.

12.3 Third-party data

  1. Some of what the Service shows is derived from third-party market, economic and news data. Your licence does not give you any rights in that underlying data beyond viewing it inside the Service.

12.4 Feedback

  1. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them for any purpose without obligation to you. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.

13. Availability, changes and suspension

13.1 No uptime guarantee

  1. The Service is provided on an as available basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available at any particular time, uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
  2. We aim to keep the Service running and to fix significant faults within a reasonable time, but we do not offer a service level commitment.

13.2 Changes to the Service

  1. We may change, improve, add to or remove features, markets, tiers, formats and content, provided that during a term you have paid for the Service continues to do substantially what clause 4.1 describes for the tier you bought.
  2. If a change materially reduces what your tier gives you during your prepaid term — for example by removing a market your tier covered — we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect and say plainly what is changing. If you tell us within 30 days of that notice that you do not accept it, we will refund the unused part of your term on a pro-rata basis under clause 10.4(c).
  3. A change we are required to make by law, or that we must make immediately to keep the Service secure, takes effect when we make it. Where such a change materially reduces what you paid for, clause 13.2(b) still gives you the notice, exit and refund right, applied as soon as we can after the event.

13.3 Suspension and discontinuation

  1. We may suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, security, technical or legal reasons. Where it is practical, we will give notice.
  2. We may discontinue the Service. If we discontinue it permanently during your prepaid term, we will refund the unused part under clause 10.4.

14. Disclaimers

14.1 As is

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available, and we exclude all warranties, conditions, representations and terms that are not expressly set out in these Terms, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise.
  2. This includes any implied warranty of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will meet your requirements.
  3. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, current or free from error, or that any third-party data used to produce it is any of those things.

14.2 Where this cannot apply

  1. Some laws do not allow certain warranties or guarantees to be excluded. Where that is the case, this clause applies only as far as that law permits, and you keep every right and guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  2. Nothing in this section removes or reduces the refund rights in clause 10.4, or the rights preserved by clause 10.1.
  3. Nothing in this section is a disclaimer of the description of the Service itself. What clause 4.1 says the Service does, and what your tier included at checkout, is what you are entitled to receive.

15. Limitation of liability

15.1 What we never exclude

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  1. death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  3. gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or
  4. anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

15.2 What we are not liable for

First, what this clause does not touch. Nothing in clause 15.2 excludes our obligation to pay you a refund you are entitled to under clause 10.4, or our liability for taking your payment and then failing to supply the Service at all. Those remain owed to you, and are subject only to the cap in clause 15.3.

Subject to that and to clause 15.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for:

  1. any trading, investment or financial loss, including the loss of capital;
  2. loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of an opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of goodwill or reputation;
  3. any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss;
  4. loss or corruption of data;
  5. any loss arising from your reliance on the Service, or on any analysis, scenario, probability, figure or statement in it, when making or not making a decision;
  6. any loss arising from output that is inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable or wrong;
  7. any loss arising from third-party data providers, news sources, networks, blockchains, wallets, exchanges or payment infrastructure;
  8. any loss arising from a transfer you sent incorrectly; or
  9. any loss caused by an event outside our reasonable control.

15.3 Cap on our liability

  1. Subject to clause 15.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (i) the total amount you paid us for the subscription term during which the event giving rise to the claim occurred, and (ii) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately before that event.
  2. If you had never paid us anything when the event occurred, our total aggregate liability is limited to 50 USDT.
  3. This cap applies however the claim arises, whether in contract, in tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise.

15.4 How the risk is shared

  1. The price of the Service reflects this allocation of risk. If we accepted responsibility for your trading outcomes, we could not offer the Service at this price, or at all.
  2. If you are simply dissatisfied — you do not find the Service useful, or you disagree with what it says — the sensible answer is to stop using it and not to buy again. That is not a statement that you have no other remedy. Your statutory rights under clause 10.1, and the refund rights in clause 10.4, apply whatever this clause says.

15.5 Each part stands alone

  1. Every part of this section operates separately. If any part is held to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.

15.6 Time limit for claims

  1. This clause does not apply to you if you are a consumer. If you are a consumer, the period for bringing a claim is whatever the law that applies to you provides, and nothing here shortens it.
  2. Otherwise, you must bring any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service within twelve months of the date you first became aware, or reasonably should have become aware, of the facts giving rise to it, unless the law that applies to you gives a longer period that cannot be shortened by agreement, in which case that longer period applies.

16. Your responsibility if you breach these Terms

  1. You are responsible for the losses and reasonable costs we incur as a direct result of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent those losses were reasonably foreseeable and we took reasonable steps to keep them down.
  2. This does not apply to losses caused by our own act or omission, and it does not extend to indirect or unforeseeable loss.
  3. If we intend to rely on this clause, we will tell you promptly, tell you what we say the loss is and how we calculated it, and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond before we take any step to recover it.
  4. Nothing in this clause requires you to pay us anything the law that applies to you does not permit us to recover from you.

17. Third-party content and services

  1. The Service uses market data, economic data and news from third parties. We do not control those sources and we do not independently verify what they publish.
  2. The Service may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement.
  3. Your use of any third-party service, including any wallet or exchange you use to pay us, is governed by that third party’s own terms, not these Terms.
  4. Because the Service is automated and draws on third-party sources, it can reproduce, paraphrase or misattribute material that belongs to someone else. If you believe something the Service has published infringes your rights, misuses your material, or wrongly attributes something to you, write to hello@getlenz.io with enough detail for us to find it and understand the complaint. We will review it and, where we agree, correct or remove it under clause 4.3.

18. Term, termination and what happens to your access

18.1 How long the agreement lasts

  1. These Terms apply from when you first accept them until your account is closed and any prepaid term has ended.
  2. Because nothing renews, you do not need to cancel anything. If you do nothing, access simply ends when your term ends.

18.2 If you want to leave

  1. You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to close your account by writing to hello@getlenz.io.
  2. Closing your account early does not entitle you to a refund, except as set out in clause 10.

18.3 If we suspend or terminate your access

  1. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Where the breach can be put right and it is reasonable to allow that, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a reasonable opportunity to fix it before we terminate.
  2. We may suspend or terminate immediately, without prior notice, where the breach is serious — for example unlawful use, automated extraction of content, sharing or reselling access, an attack on or threat to the security of the Service, or where we are required to act by law.
  3. Where we terminate under clause 18.3(b) for a serious breach, prepaid fees are not refunded.
  4. Where we terminate for any other breach, after notice and a reasonable opportunity to put it right, we will refund the unused part of your prepaid term on a pro-rata basis. We may deduct from that refund any loss your breach actually caused us, up to the amount of the refund, and we will tell you what we deducted and why.
  5. Nothing in this clause lets us keep more than the law permits. Where the law that applies to you treats the forfeiture of a prepaid amount as a penalty rather than a genuine estimate of our loss, we will refund the unused part on a pro-rata basis instead.
  6. A suspension is not a termination. If we suspend your access and then conclude there was no breach, we will restore it and extend your term by the length of the suspension.

18.4 What survives

  1. Clauses that by their nature should continue after these Terms end — including clauses 4.3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.5, 9.6, 10, 11.2, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.4, 20 and 21 — continue to apply.
  2. In particular, any refund we owe you under clause 10.4 survives termination, suspension or discontinuation of the Service and remains payable.

19. Changes to these Terms

19.1 Ordinary changes

  1. We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change to the Service, a change in law, or a security or operational requirement.
  2. We will post the updated Terms with a new “last updated” date. Changes that do not materially disadvantage you, and changes we are required to make by law, take effect when posted.

19.2 Material changes

  1. If a change materially disadvantages you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and we will tell you plainly what is changing.
  2. If you do not accept the change, you may stop using the Service and tell us within 30 days of the notice. We will then refund the unused part of your prepaid term on a pro-rata basis under clause 10.4.
  3. If you continue to use the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
  4. This clause is about changes to these Terms. Clause 13.2 gives you the same notice, exit and pro-rata refund right for a material change to the Service itself. Changes to the Privacy Policy are governed by that policy’s own section 14, not by this clause (see clause 1.1(c)).

20. Complaints, governing law and disputes

20.1 Talk to us first

  1. If something has gone wrong, please write to hello@getlenz.io and give us the chance to put it right. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 days and to resolve them within 30 days.
  2. Most issues are resolved this way, and it is faster and cheaper for both of us than a dispute.
  3. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will write and tell you so. We do not currently take part in any alternative dispute resolution or ombudsman scheme, and we are not obliged to. That does not affect any right you have to use a dispute resolution or complaints body available to you where you live, or to go to court.

20.2 Governing law

  1. These Terms do not name a governing law. Any dispute is decided under the law that applies to you where you live, using the ordinary rules that decide which law that is.
  2. Nothing in these Terms limits the protection that law gives you as a consumer, or takes away any mandatory rule of it that cannot be departed from by agreement.

20.3 Where disputes are decided

  1. You may bring a claim in the courts available to you under your own consumer law, over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
  2. If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause removes any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, or any right you have to use a dispute resolution or complaints body available to you there.

21. General

21.1 Severability

  1. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, it will be read down to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and if that is not possible it will be severed. The remaining provisions continue in full force.

21.2 No waiver

  1. If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it, and it does not stop us enforcing it later.

21.3 Entire agreement

  1. These Terms are the entire agreement between us about the Service and replace any earlier discussions about it. Our Privacy Policy is not part of this agreement (see clause 1.1(c)).
  2. This does not limit our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, does not exclude or restrict any liability for a statement we made about what the Service is or does on which you reasonably relied when you bought it, and does not affect any right you have under mandatory consumer law.

21.4 Transfer

  1. We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms, for example as part of a reorganisation or a sale of the business. Your rights under these Terms will not be reduced by such a transfer, and we will tell you if it happens.
  2. You may not transfer or assign your rights or your account to anyone else.

21.5 No third-party rights

  1. These Terms are between you and us. No one else has a right to enforce them.

21.6 Events outside our control

  1. We are not responsible for failing to perform, or for delay in performing, any obligation under these Terms where the cause is outside our reasonable control — including outages of networks, blockchains, hosting or data providers, cyber attacks, power or internet failure, natural events, civil disruption, or a change in law that prevents us from providing the Service.

21.7 Notices

  1. We will send notices to the email address registered on your account. It is your responsibility to keep it current and to check it.
  2. You can send us notices at hello@getlenz.io. That address is the only notice channel we operate.

21.8 Language

  1. These Terms are written in English. If we publish a translation and there is any conflict, the English version governs, unless the law that applies to you requires otherwise.

21.9 Headings and summary

  1. Headings and the summary at the top are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning of these Terms.
